Baretto, the party maker!

Baretto, l'anima della festa!

Baretto, the party maker!

Baretto: the traditional bottle crate has been rethought and reborn as a contemporary mini-bar.

The traditional bottle crate has always been used for glass bottled water home delivery, but now its concept has been rethought and reborn as a contemporary mini bar: Baretto.
Baretto, the party maker!
Baretto comprises a bottle crate set under a highly functional worktop.
The whole structure is mounted on wheels, so as to be easily moved around in different areas, and fit to the manifold aspects of modern living.
Baretto, the party maker!
The unique shapes and colours of each crate make any version of Baretto a one-off piece, the real beating heart of a new mini bar redesigned with a modern vision.
In short, from a static and cumbersome furnishing accessory it has become a versatile and lively object.
Baretto, the party maker!
The MDF worktops, in many different colours, create contrast or play with the predominant hues of every single crate, allowing a high degree of customisation based on specific customer needs.
The use of steel mounting rods and hinges ensure optimal reliability, while the wheels guarantee
the maximum level of functionality.
Baretto, the party maker!
The philosophy behind Baretto focuses on the ‘recycling’ concept, which lends a ‘vintage’ flavour: an old crate lives again and is transformed under a modern and eco-friendly light.
Recycling and reinterpretation are the key concepts that give birth to an exclusive design item, unique in its unlimited combinations of colours and shapes.

The project is signed by two young Italian architects Paolo Boatti and Manuela Verga, founders of boattiverga studio, born in Milan after a collaboration with Marcio Kogan, a world-famous Brazilian architect.
Baretto, the party maker!
During this first project, Prostheses and Innesti, presented at the London Design Festival and on exhibition at the Gallery Fumi in London and Porto Cervo, the architects Boatti – Verga
singled out what would become the philosophy behind all their works.
The main idea is ‘recycling’: old handmade and industrial objects restyled through the reinterpretation of their specific function.
The hybridisation between restyled objects and new materials, the contamination of their traditional usage with a new, contemporary perspective, and clean, sharp shapes are the keystone of all boattiverga projects.
